Terms

Creating an HC Sync project means accepting these Terms, including the DPA for every customer. Free includes 5 users and 200,000 records. Paid plans renew monthly and can be cancelled anytime. Email within 30 days of a payment for a full refund under the cancellation and refunds terms below.

Plain terms for a small developer service. By creating a project you agree to them.

• Processing terms. The DPA is incorporated into these Terms for every customer, including Free. See our subprocessors.
• Payments. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, shown at checkout.
• Children. Child-directed integrations involving users under 16 are prohibited unless agreed with us in writing.
• Your users, your responsibility. You get the consent and give the notices your users need, and you only send data you're allowed to send.
• Not a medical device. HC Sync moves data. It isn't for diagnosis or emergencies, and we don't sign HIPAA business associate agreements.
• Keep keys secret. The secret key stays on your server. Rotate it with POST /v1/keys/rotate if it leaks.
• Fair use. No abuse, scraping or attempts to reach other projects' data. We enforce plan, batch and payload limits and may suspend projects that harm the service.
• Plans. Free: 5 users and 200,000 records. Paid plans are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime; the plan ends at the end of the paid month.
• Availability. We aim for high uptime but give no service-level guarantee on the free or indie plans. Webhooks have a 5 second timeout. Signed events with ids for dedupe. Queued events retry in order every 5 minutes, on sync or replay, for up to 7 days. The queue holds 500 events per project; new events are discarded when full. Record writes and event queuing are separate, so a failure between them can lose an event. REST exposes current records, but cannot recover missed deletion events.
• Ending. You can delete your project at any time. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice to export your data.
• Liability. The service is provided as is. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

How do cancellation and refunds work?

Paid plans renew monthly. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you are not happy for any reason, email shaharfrish6@gmail.com within 30 days of a payment and we refund it in full.
